isr mod

I did the isr mod today by accident, I tore the rubber boot doing plugs, I did not have time to plum the air breather hoses, I saw one pic it had a small pvc filter on it, sense I did the mod and tune up the runner is idleing high, so do the tubes need to be tied back in.

I recommend atleast reconnecting the PCV breather hose on the valve cover. The other two don't really need connected, and can both have breather filters attatched if desired(or just blocked off if not, NEVER block off the PCV though). And replace the boot you tore too.

Then, once you've done those things, recheck and if necessary adjust the idle speed to stock specs. If you don't know how to do that, then it probably wasn't the best idea to tackle this mod at the present moment. You have obviously not done all your homework.

OK, I found a tee that took care of the other 2 and tied back into the hose on top of filter housing, still idles high, was going to filter other hose off the valve cover, maybe I damages another hose. The hose I tore made me do the mod, so its off.

It would be helpful if you include year, model, engine, transmission etc. in your signature.
If you have an '87 22re then I know that the temperature sending unit is on top of the thermostat housing.
