Installed 7" lift in my 4runner - Now on 37x14 Iroks PICS!

Yep!!! Heres the pics!!! All the hard work I put into cleaning the truck and installing the extra lift was worth it!!! Two 1st places and one 2nd place!!!

Ended up running the 37x14 Iroks that'll be used on my zook, on some 15x10 Classic Locks. They fitted great, and I was even able to do some easy trails (that didn't require much flex) and get it out in the small amount of mud that was out there.

You should just go all the way; SAS it, and wheel it like hell.

Your truck is one of the best looking 4Runners I've ever seen.

Those 37s really make that truck come together. I can't image running a tirethat large. I'm not much on tires over 35s, but man those things running threw the mud looked great. Since you are going to run those are your Zook...what are you going to use for the 4runner?

100% Badass!

I would love to go all out and do that in my runner, but at the end of the day, it's a tow rig for the zook, and just a cool daily driver. But it owes me that much money now, that I can never sell it, so you never know, it might happen one day down the track after I have my fun in the zook. I will be sure to post pics if it ever does happen.

Yeah, I was really surprised just how well they did fit, I didn't think it would be as driveable as it was with them. But a lot of trimming would be needed for it to work well offroad.

The 33 Kuhmo's are back on the 4runner now, and the bodylift will be dropped back to 2" this weekend, but I will be leaving the cruiser coils in the rear.

But....since I had orginally bought 15x8 Classic II's for the zook, as I was only going to run 35's, but now I've got 37's I'm going to use the 4runners 15x10's on the zook, then sell the 15x8's and I've got a great deal on some 17x9's which will get a set of 33x12.5 R17 Cooper STT's fitted too and then fitted to the runner. Which will hopefully happen in the next couple of weeks.

I also punctured one of the kuhmo's rather badly on the trip out, which is a shame, as they were one of the best handling mud tyres I've driven on, but even though it was probably just bad luck, I a little bit dissapointed about the strength. So I wont really be sorry to see them go.

Heres some better pics that a mate took of me going through the mud. This was of the 2nd run, when the was more people around, and I had the windows up, so I gave it a bit more right foot in 2wd!!!

The view from our camp for the long weekend.

My wife and I with the show n shine trophys, and the not so shiny 4runner.

And a poser pic in front of the big TOYOTA sign.

I bought it with a lot of the accessories attached, but have been building it up for about the last 4-5 years......the last year and a bit has been the busiest and coolest but!!!

This is how it looked when I bought it.

what rims did you get? i love the look of the 17's on the trucks and runners(shameless plug...) and now that a good bit of stock vehicles come with 17's tire options are greatly impoved...

awsome pics...

That's an awsome 4runner and a great mud run. I wouldn't dream of going threw something like that with my truck. I really like the way you did your front bumper. did you custom put those lights in there? what did you use?

thanks mate....

These are the rims I'm getting....17x9 BRUTE B201.....I hadn't heard of them before, but the tyre shop that semi sponsors my zook is doing a great deal on them. Am probably going to go with Mickey Thomson MTZ's now too as he can do them cheaper than the Coopers, and I reckon they look better as well.

Yeah, they were brand new progressive ones....which gave it a little over 4" lift. Am really happy with them, the ride is better, the lift is great, and they don't sag as much when the truck is all loaded up with camping gear.

Yeah, did the turn signals myself, and a mate did the 100mm lights for me.

There is details and pics about the clear indicators in this thread...the pics also show the mounts for the 100mm lights. It's pretty much just a big hole drilled into the bumper, than a small mount welded on. I love the way the bar looks with it all installed.
