Wow, looks good! I've got to do that one day, the only thing that lights up on my cluster are the trouble lights and I didn't even know the heater controls light up (91 4runner) and my glove box and ashtray are also in the dark. How difficult was pulling the dash?

holy crap man, nice work!

What kind of LEDs did you use in the dash and where did you get them? I have some green one's in mine that I got off eBay, but their horrible; I can harldy see my gauges at night...

and I don't think there's a glove-box like on the standard models... must be an SR5 thing or something, I dunno; I've torn my dash apart many times, I just figure I would have seen that by now...

Actually, pulling the dash isn't that hard, nor that time consuming. I suppose I'm down to under half an hour to pull it and reinstall it.

ok i got a question and a answer for some of yous.

first of you can get alot of Light emitting diodes (LED) of ebay

i do electronics servicing and im wondering if you solder on this job or are you using wedge bulbs?

my mate said there are these small condom like things that are colored e.g blue and they go over your current bulbs. they wouldn't be as blueish an LED but still thats an easer way

The LEDs he is using are actually 5 LEDs in a common housing with the proper 194 two prong base. The have 4 LEDs that illuminate radially and one in the center firing forward.

http://www.superbrightleds.com/specs/bulb_specs.htm#x5

Look at the WLED-5x and you'll see what I mean.

They also have LED's in different configurations with more than just 5 bulbs as well. Any reason why you can't use those? Are there any size constraints in the install?

Those corners are from a Mk III or IV Hilux? did you get the indicators to work? or are they just corner lights? Cause i might go that way if you got the indicators to work.

well right, but I thought most trucks are wired with just the single plug going to the corner lense with just 2 wires going to it... therefore, you would have to run your own wires

at least I know that's how mine's set up; if I wanted to put signals in my corners, I'd have to run some wire; well, maybe just one wire for the blinker hot and just use a common ground...

Or the fact that if you could just take the bumper indicator wires and wire them into the bumper so you can hook up to the corner lamps.
