I'm not sure if I fit in here.............

I think you guys are mainly hardcore off-roaders, where I am an all OEM type of guy..........original wheels, paint, suspension, etc. I'm not into off-roading...........maybe the occasional two-tracking with the family, but upgrading suspension, tires, etc., I'm just not in to (hey, I'm 40, not 25 anymore!!). I don't drive my vehicles hard, park my nice vehicles in the winter (keep them away from Michigan salt), and simply like my vehicles stock

Is this the website I should be at, or is there another that is more geared towards the "city" 4Runner owners? I enjoy this site, lots of info.......just don't want to piss you guys off with my OEM questions.

I really don't think anyone here will get pissed with OEM questions. This board is not your 'average' board. There are a bunch of great people on here. If everyone contributes in a positive way...oem or hardcore, the board only gets better. I am sure you have something to contribute to this board, and there is someone out there who will appreciate your input. So...WELCOME. We look forward to hearing from you.

As long as you aren't going to lower it I have no problem J/K, even then, it isn't my deal but it is kinda cool, we all have the same vehicles and no matter how much some people replace, there is still OEM stuff on the vehicle that needs work so I don't see any problem with that. Welcome.

you can post here just fine. you might also want to check out www.t4r.org, theyre less offroady, but theres way less traffic and way more ads there too.

Lee doesn't go there anymore, now that he is "offroady".

Don't worry your not alone. I'm taking mine back to stock and keeping it oem. Lots of great knowledge here, and pretty much everyone fits in.

It's cool mang! Variety is the spice of life. I am definitely not the "off-roady" type as you can see by my sig and I baby my rig as much as the next guy. Just don't post this same post over on TTORA or Pirate or you will get flamed faster than you can say hello!

Thumbs up We CAN just all get along

I came here looking to info. about an ongoing engine problem. I found lots of useful stuff to try and now I'm hooked.

I'm still stock for now....... I just got the truck back on the road.

Stock or totally Mod.'ed to the hilt doesn't seem to matter here. Just enjoy the company and add what you can.

This board is the best for a wide range of types of Toyota truck owners but if you're into 22" wheels then this board isn't for you but they're's plenty of hardcore off-roaders and guys that just use their trucks for daily tasks and all the people inbetween. I think the overall collective knowledge of Toyota trucks especially 4Runners is abundant on this board and is a very informative site.

This is an awesome board and everybody is willing to help with any issue. Even if some one has a fully modded rig with bigger axles and tires, they might have a stock wiring problem, so it's back to OEM support for that. No biggie on the OEM, just share your knowledge as you absorb more.

"Hardcore offroader?" Don't I wish! I need my rig to remain my DD - can't afford too much breakage and like to keep her purty. Despite my "brags" below, I'm mostly an OEM guy, too. But I've been on the receiving end of a lot of help courtesy of the great folks that frequent this forum, and hope I've provided a little, too. Post your question, and you'll usually see reponses soon. But search the forum first to see if it's been addressed already or else, yikes! That's when the flames appear!

Man, I'm 25 and heavily modding my 4runner. Does this mean that when I'm 40 I have to stop? My girlfriend will be pleased. Thanks for shedding some light on her life.
