Igniter needed.87 4-runner

I need an igniter for a 87 4-runner,4x4 with auto tranny.HELP PLEASE

No you need a D.U.I distributor, it's cheaper. Then post back and tell us how you love it so I can talk my wife into it.

Make sure you timing chain is not broken. I thought I needed an igniter but it turned out to be a broken timing chain. I would hate to see you blow your $ on a igniter you might not need.

What are the ## on the ignitor? Other years will work. Is it a 22R or 22RE

I did the same bloody thing. Thankfully I got the igniter for free from a friend who had extra parts. Instead I broke one of my timing chain guides and that then snapped my chain. I wish I would have read this thread 3 days ago. Would have saved my self some self indused arse kicking.
