IFS lift shocks

Bought my 86 a while back, has a complete Rancho IFS drop bracket lift on it (torsions, brackets, rear traction bars, etc).

However, all 4 shocks are blown, combine that with the beefier torsion bars and it makes for a pretty ˟˟˟˟ty ride.

Not too concerned with the torsions for now, but I am looking to get some good shocks (this truck daily drives the city and wheels pretty hard on the weekends).

But I am having a hell of a time finding anything for a drop bracket lift. Found only one or two options that are sold separately from a whole lift setup

Rears are too bad as it just block lifted in the back, and rear lift shocks are easy to find.

Also looking for opinions on other daily driver/weekend wheeler shocks, what are the rest of you running.

Some fab work is not a concern so whatchya got?

Best thing to do is measure the compressed distance and the extension distance. Meaning, stuff and droop. Most manufactors have a shock specification sheet that lists all the measurements you need.

I've ran Rancho 9000 style shocks for a long time and never had issues.

I also would suggest flexing it and measuring, and Summit has extended and compressed lengths listed for most of their shocks as far as I know. They show 15 options for a 4" lifted '86 ifs...

wow oh wow...No clue how I forgot to even look at summit racing lol (specially considering I have nearly 5k worth of receipts from there for my supra build).

Thanks guys..

Now I guess Im mainly just looking for opinions on what people are running on dd/weekend wheelers for a little comfort and performance.
