Both of the white trucks are set up to be as close to each other as I could reasonable get in terms of lift and tire size. Two inch body lift and three inches of suspension. Tires are 33x12.50 BFG A/Ts on a 15x8 rim. At the time of this picture I had the 1986 front ride height adjustment a tad low and the 1985 had too long a shackle up front making it a bit higher. The rear lift between the two is slightly off giving the rake of the 1985 a nose up and the 1986 a nose down. The fiberglass fenders tricks ones eye as well.

friend of mine has that exact 85 minus lift, its bone stock and she bought it off the dealership new.

my 86 used to be white like that, kinda thought of turning it back, but eh the yellow has grown on me haha

Yeah you need to leave him yellow.

I like bright colours on a 4x4. I kind of want to paint mine dayglo orange.

Our trucks start to get a bit ridiculous so might as well give it the paint to match.

Plus, if I ever do get lost/breakdown way out in the bush a S&R aircraft would spot me for miles.

I very nearly bought one for myself and my good buddy wants one for his. If you don't do all the custom stuff he did like centering your front diff it gives you great travel for similar costs to an SAS job.

Any other LT I've looked into costs way more than fitting a solid axle.

Sweet vids. I'd like to get some travel like that. I'd never be able to run that setup here in WV tho without some major wide fender flares.

Toyo,.... I always love your videos... Excellent creepy crawly technique. That's bound to keep those T 100 CV axles tear free for a lot longer... BUT,...what I really love about that last video is seeing your buddy run back and forth to different windows and such... It's almost like he's spotting for you! Hahaha.
