Yeah. While the temp gauge was still where it should be, the hood was getting quite hot due to our low speed and high ambiant temperature. I decided it would be proactive and let some heat out. Popping the hood lets out quite a bit of heat. No way was I turning on the cab heater as it must have a muggy 20*C (70*F).

I smooshed the fender a few months after I got the truck, replaced it all and rattle canned the fender. The hood has no clearcoat left and is all milky (Maaco special!!) thanks to the po.
