is it just me, or did my 91 with the stock rear suspension have an abnormally larger amount of travel in the rear with stock suspention?

I mean, it had some Wabfab shackels installed to level it out form the worn leaves, but the tires seemed to tuck further then most other's I've seen...

or myabe I'm just looking at it strange, or it's the angle of the pics I took, I dunno...

Here's mine. Pic is from Nov 2007, but not much has changed. Only I now have Downey HD Coils in the rear and I feel like my stock sagging ones flexed better... but hey they should force the front to flex, right?

Don't mind all the ATF on the frame from my power steering.

Told you the truck was clean when I got it. The rust hole was about the size a quarter. This is after bondo and paint (notice the fender lip is a slight different blue) Then after some salty VT winters....you know the story. I also cut out more than I needed to take care of any rust that hadnt broken through...but I still didnt cut enough.

So I was out at Folsom Lake today and thought I would take some pics. I was able to stuff the rear tires without any rubbing. I'm going to go out there again soon and get some better ones of me gettin sideways

This was yesterday, I have about eight more pictures, but my phone decided it was only going to send one, and this is the one that made it. Boo phone.

Remove the sway-bar! You get a lil more flex! Just don't take corners too fast....

^ only remove the front, removing the rear reduces both overall flex and on-road performance.

Picking up my solid front axle Landcruiser HJ60 on Thursday, can't wait to post flex pics in the IFS flex thread for 4Runner and trucks haha.

I like the red slider thingy.

I lost mine to my sister's 88 and was thinkin of pickin up a new one and paintin in red. hmmm

I gotta say ifs isn't TOO bad. I've had a few instances where i think it killed me, but i think i'd rather invest on lockers.

ugh stuck late night in the Sequoias for 3 hours because of lack of flex and open diffs...

Yeah the red skid plate is my $5 cheap mod. For some reason I think it just looks better than black. My next buy is definatly a rear locker. That should get me by until I do a sas
