if you ever break a snap clip...

If you ever break, loose, or aren't sent with used parts a snap clip for the tranny case shifter, you can use the spring from an old throw-out bearing. Cut off the ends leaving just one of the bends, bend it into a smaller circle and pop it in. It seems to hold great, but I will see once I get my 5-speed swap done (hopefully this weekend).
