Can anyone tell me what this coolant hose is and where I can get another one?
It runs from thermostat housing to the front of intake. I have a piece of fuel injection hose in its place right now. Will that work or do I need to have real coolant hose?
That sure looks like the water bybass hose from the engine near the thermostat to the throttle body. I am looking for the part number, and if I find it I will let ya know. I don't think a piece of vacuum hose will do the job, but I bet you could get away with a chunk of waterline - I have done that in the past.

That is exactly what it is. I cant find a part # for it.
I don't know much about the 22re, but this hose goes to the Aux Air Valve assembly. A photo of the installed location might have helped someone who DOES know the 22re to figure it out.
i been running fuel line for 4 years for that same hose , i blew on freeway , side of road repair . i have the replacement in the truck. just never have installed it . in fact i have most coolant hoses in the 4r just incase .
Yeah a couple of other forums said that the fuel injection hose would be just fine so I'll just run it. I am lucky I blew the hose on the street rather than on a trail. I'll be adding various hoses to my trail kit.
update on the trail fix fuel line hose for a coolant line . it finally failed about 5 years after install !! that genuine Toyota replacement finally was installed !
