I need electrical help

I have a 1990 pickup I am having some problems. I noticed the day I got the truck a year ago that everytime I turn the blinker on left and right. It makes my volt meter bounce so to me its pulling a good bit of current. I put leds in the rear and it still bounces but just a little faster. My problem now it that I can still turn my passenger side blinker on and it works. But my driver side when I turn it on it draws a lot of power and kicks a fuse after 4 blinks so I know there is a ground problem but also woundering if it way be in the switch? Has anyone else had this problem?

It's possible that it's the combination switch contacts causing issues. When they wear, it can increase resistance (electrical) and cause excessive amperage draw. That does not mean there isn't an issue elsewhere though.

I would suggest checking the bulb housings and connectors, making sure they are clean of any corrosion before jumping off elsewhere.
