Crazyeye hahaha. I do agree in my hometown of beaufort sc we have more cops per capita than atl. And beaufort has maybe a population of 20,000.. needless to say I can't drive down a road there without passing 4 or more cops... and when they pull you over they treat every moving violation like a murder charge so about 4 of their buddies have to pull up... I hate driving my subaru there because they think I'm a racecar driver... punk kids gotta mess up so anyone with a sports car gets harrassed

WA Laws are picky about lights and flaps.
I got pulled over because my taillight wasn't "Red enough" I guess the red was faded and at night it looked more pink than red.

Yup, a coworker in his 87 got pulled over for the same thing, but his brake lights looked orange.

i'm pretty sure i've seen someone on here that put some thin sheet metal bolted to the wheel wells that stuck out a bit to act as fender extensions

WA sounds like a sucky place to live if you like to modify 4x4s. Great place if you like froufrou pizza though.

Tinted turn signals/brake lights are useless and reduce function of a safety feature. I've had my windshield chipped by a jeep with no mudflaps, so that's justified as well. The fender-extender perplexes me a bit, but then again, fat tires don't grab as well, so I'm sticking to skinnies for traction.

Its good some good wheeling, you just have to lawful about driving to and from the wheeling spots. While some of the rules and laws may seem stupid... The main reason for those "stupid" laws are not just to protect you. But to protect the people driving in front and behind you, and not just cars but pedestrians and bicylists.
