how do u take out the pilot bearing?

Thats what I use too....the sponginess of the bread helps create pressure forcing it out....

same procedure as the grease method but no mess to clean up..

and you have a tasty under truck snack when u are done

I tried the grease method.

Ended up going to autozone to get an inside jaw puller. Shoulda done that in the first place. Much faster than any mickey mousing I could have done.

it also works to use a socket that fits tight in the hole and an extension,a long extension gets you farther away from the grease if it blows out,lol

Next time we're burning his truck with a virgin on top in sacrifice to the truck gods.


I HATE pilot bearings... I HATE HATE HATE em! Every time with TC's rig it is a 1/2 day job.
