How do I remove the wiper arm??

On my 86 Toyota truck I took off the plastic cap and removed the locking nut with a 12 MM wrench, but how does the wiper arm come off the stud? This is on the drivers side.

It should just slide off. Probably stuck...put something thin(plastic, cardboard) on the cowel to protect it and lightly pry it off with a pry bar/claw hammer

A little of your favorite penetrating spray does wonders as well

no puller needed. elbow grease and something to pry. Probably can just wiggle it enough ad it would come free.

Pull it away from the the wiper to remove the spring tension, then wiggle it off.

grab the arm pull up and wiggle side to side. 20+ years of it being on there will make it not want to move. i was so pleased when i finally got my new ones. my windshield is clear now!

Thanks men for the replies.Put some WD-40 on the threads this morning and this afternoon I worked the drivers side off with a little struggle and tugging and back and forth motion. The passenger side was still jammed on however and a friend helped me as I used the claw hammer gently and he tugged. All changed and working well.
