Hose / line fell out

I was installing a front diff drop kit today and had this hose fall out from the passenger side during the process. No clue where it came from. Any ideas?

Kentucky?

Don't you have a '99 4Runner? You might get a little more help if you post in a forum where such owners can be found. And don't forget to tell people your Make/Model/Engine/Trim/Transmission.

I was thinking maybe the AC evaporator drain hose, but from what I recall that is more of an "L" shape.

well if nothing is leaking.. id say it might have just been left over from a previous owner changing something, hard to judge how big that is but it looks like maybe an emissions hose. your best course of action to to quickly remove that drop bracket and place it firmly in the trash.
