i am finalizing the frontend rebuild on my 92 4x4 ext cab and have been searching for a new hood latch. the dealer wants $50 and on ebay they have these. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HOOD-...2em118Q2el1247 after searching the net i cant find anyone selling hood latches that say specifically for the 92 4wd and some i emailed said the ones like the link above wont work on the 4wd but from all the pics iv seen they all appear to look like the original. so does anyone know if these companies just dont know their product and this is a universal design that will work on the 4wd?

all hood latches from 89-95 in the trucks, and 90-95 in the 4runners with work. 2WD, 4WD, all of it.
