I also did a custom intake which make the truck run so smooth that you don't even think it is on, don't fill much power at all because I think my tranny is about to loose its grip but I'll wait for the 5 speed swap, but anyway I use Spectra custom intake which work fine, it was a tight fit in there.

What parts did you buy from Home Depot? What size of aluminum pipe did you use? Any left?

he bought the pipe off ebay and got the hose concetors from home depot

it was 3" diameter pipe 1mm thick. the connectors from homedepot are actually made for 3" PVC pipe which didn't work as planned so i would get 2.5" if they have it ...they still work but you have to take the metal jacket that was originally around each end connector.

I did something similar to that. I found that Napa carries a hose with the perfect diameter, $17.00ft tho:cry: I used an elbow from the CAI from my civic, Autozone carrys the pipe also,

yeah i was originally going to use that hose only but it wasn't flexible enough to make the bend required.
