281,000 miles on original 3.0 - still runs great. Head gaskets changed at 218k, valve seals replaced then as precaution, but otherwise all original.

does 120,000 miles count for my 3.0 and still pushing more power and better economy than stock? ha, google Dr. Kent Frusion from Medicine Hat Alberta, Canada. he had 1 MILLION kms on his 3.0L 90 4Runner. All original and no major work done to it as of 2003, i have not heard much of him since. Toyota did a commercial in western Canada in 03 about him.

213k og motor hg recall done and timing belt changed, new rad due to broken fan piece making a hole. no more a/t though. was going bad and was sick of it. so now it has a 5spd. uses 1/2 qt in 8000 miles...probably due to the small seep from the distributor.

I had a logger that sometimes cuts for me and he had a 1986 Ext Cab 22re 5spd 4x4 that he bought brand new and it was in the woods everyday and frquently pulled a fuel trailer. I peeked in it one day and noticed the odo read 590,000 miles. I asked the logger was the mileage correct and said no b/c the odometer had broken about 2 years before. I saw him again about a year after that and while one of his workers was driving it, the motor finally let go, not complete destruction, but definitely had a bad knock. So who knows how many miles that truck really had on it-somewhere north of 700k miles I would assume.

Well...
The 91 p/u has 233k

The 93 runner has 260k

and the 94 runner has 228k All original engines/tranny's, some basic mant stuff done to all, and just now dealing with issues on the 93. Which has had a rough rough life!! Heres just 1 example
lol

I plan to put 1,000,000+ on all of them
