High Mileage Yotas!

So I searched, and can't find a thread devoted to the Pickups and 4Runners with high miles on the original motor, so here's one just for 86-95 models!

Today, as I was parking my truck at home after work, I happened to look down and glance at my miles...

288880.5 miles!

Bone stock 91 22re (minus the intake; I built a custom one after the OEM one developed a tear after about 270k).

The only major maintenance done is the timing chain, plus removed and cleaned the intake manifold once (got the notorius black-goo buildup)

Also have replaced the following...
-rad, H2O pump, all the coolant hoses, all the belts (did all that when I first picked the truck up cause both the H2O pump and rad leaked. worked fine and never overheated, but it would loose antifreeze over the caurse of a week)
-AFM when I did the intake
-O2 sencor
-exhaust manifold
-OEM muffler
-ignition coil
-wires
-basic little tune up stuff like plugs, filters, pvc valve, etc...

-replaced the rear-diff gasket not too long ago because of a leak, and also replaced the rear axle-shaft seals at that time
-just did both rear U-joints last weekend
-needs rear wheel bearings
-needs tranny and front-diff fluid changed

As far as I can tell, all ball-joints, tie-rods, EVERYTHING is original! The shocks have TOYOTA stamped on them!

The head and the lower end remains untouched, and hardly burns 1/4 qt of oil every oil change!

It's my DD, and casual trail-rider. She's get's me where I need to go (on and off the roads), has been the recue vehicle many a times, and has been hydro-locked once and still drove home that day!

So lets see/hear your migh mileage story!

If ya got proof, even better, let's see the pics.

No posers or liers though (don't claim you have a bajillion miles with no proof to back it up, and no "rolled-speedometers")

My truck hit 199,999 when I parked at the campus today. My truck is officially in the 200K club.

almost at the 240k mark. bottom end is untouched, I think the head gasket was done around 180k. burns about a quart every 2k miles. Last year I drove it from NJ to Vegas and back without a single issue.

300,000?

When the PO had to first clutch put in, they left the odo unplugged and the PO left it that way for a few months. Then when I had it, the odo died, and I left it that way for about 3 years. After the new odo, I now have 175,000 on it.

I think I see a small rust problem there. You may want to check that out before it spreads.

When I worked for Toyota Service years ago, I spotted an 80's 4Runner with over 500,000.
