direct HID's - none that I know of, but you could piece a system together using the Hella Vision Plus headlight conversion (so you can use a bulb instead of a sealed beam, check out http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/CheapTri...l#H4Conversion) and install an HID conversion into the new housings

Got em off eBay for only about $50; they serve their perpose are upgraded replacements. Threw in LED replacements for the 1157 brake and tail lights, and LED replacements fot the 1156 turn signals, and then some 50 watt 1156 bubs for the reverse lights.

Did the same up front as many are suggesting for the conversion lights, but I just put in some really bright H4 Xenon bulbs instead of a full HID conversion, and their great; MUCH better than any other sealed beam I've tried.

Best place to buy HIDs is EBAY....make sure they are the cheapest ones you can find

OR if you want some lights that wont blind everyone check out roundeyes H3 conversion and Roger Browns upgraded headlight harness

that's the taillights I was gonna go with, their just too expensive for my taste; especially considering I'll probably just brake the new set on the trail some time anyway

those headlight conversions are technically not HID, but just a projector lamp style conversion housing that fits H3 bulbs, and the bulbs it comes with are just Xenon bulbs. the bulbs mine came with where really not all that bright; I bought a better set from the parts store. those and maybe some Sulvania Silverstars Ultras or some Hella bulbs would make a great setup though.

you can get and HID light conversion to go in those, but true HID kits are purdy pricy

eBay link

Ask yourself - are "HIDs" that cost $30 shipped going to be any good?

Of course not. Please don't try and upgrade to HIDs, you're going to seriously blind other drivers on the road. It's dangerous and illegal.

You CAN retrofit HIDs by putting in proper projector housings, self-leveling assemblies, and anti-glare shields, but that costs a ton of cash to do it right. Just buy some new bulbs, upgrade the stock wiring harness, and call it done.

I put a pair of H4's in my 88 that I had left over from my prelude, they look 100 times better then stock, work great, have city lights.

I think I found them on e-bay for 10-20$ two years ago, they still work great!!!

that's awesome, and a good job done there. but yeah, I personally think it's not worth the trouble, which is why I only went as far as conversion headlights and the Xenon bulbs.

plus the conversion lights came tapped for what they call "city lights". I popped in some green leds, and they look purdy cool at night.

note, this is with my old cheap projector style conversion light as you linked to above; they sprung a leak and rusted on the inside. I have sence bought better ones that still have the accent lights in them

flame if you want about them looking like they belong on a Honda, but I think their kinda cool look'n; definately different... plus I like green...

hmm whats the little box? back up siren? lol. too expensive for me tho

as far as hids go we sell them at my workplace for around 200$ i bought a set for 45$ off of ebay and they are all the same parts. so saying you get what you payfor here doesnt apply. i'd suggest doing a projector mod, better light dispersion.
