got things situated -but fire is still burning- has been since early June - it was lightning started insidethe Kenai National wild life refuge - only fighting efforts are when the winds blow it back towards the river and the only highway between us and Anchorage. Fortunately no one hurt yet - just alot of smoke at times and frustration when the road is closed down! it is only way other than trying to a flight outta Kenai to Anchorage.
going to work on rig tomorrow and see what is up - finally - will post update of findings

Hoping for the best for the fire. Had 2 last year that were within 10&14 miles of us. Fires are scary. Both natural causes in "wilderness areas" so very hard to access and no proper fire prevention, ie brush clearing, logging or grazing. Then the people that insist this policies are necessary yell the loudest that the fires cant be easily stopped. Rant over.

Be safe and be ready to go.

I just noticed your location AKZEP69, I live in Nikiski and last week I spent 19 hours in my car waiting in Cooper Landing for the highway to open. really sucks!
I will be tied up for a couple of weeks but I would like to eyeball your suspension and help if I can, let me know if you figure it out before then.
I see from your pictures that the front alignment adjusters are set with one all the way in and one most of the way out. this is likely your issue, did you have a shop do an alignment on it? if not that is your next step, and make sure you get a computerized printout! I can tell a lot from that.

No washer or nut left front of torsion bar and rear nut was loose too!

Jacked front end up as high as I could, pulled tires and stared at it - both sides - wondering what the hell would cause the shock to be hitting after all it still drove and tracked well even over the ruts on Kenai Bridge Access - as akwheeler can attest to - we don't have any freeways around this part of Alaska and the paved main roads are just ok.

I pulled shocks figuring to trim the bump stops …that’s when I saw no nut or washer on the front of the left torsion bar as seen in photo above - the rear nut was loose as well!

used a de-burr bit to grind of excess on bump stops

Scrounged a washer & nut from local junkyar, installed and torqued both nuts to spec. (166 ft. lbs.) - Tracks well
Akwheeler thanks for noticing the alignment adjusters being as they are - didnt notice and will be having a serious conversation with the mechanic who did alignment!

Alignment adjusters - don't look very aligned to me
