help with gauges

Another newbie needs some help!! Both my tach and oil pressure gauges are not working. Any ideas beside a fuse. The tach wasnt working when i got the truck and the oil gauge stopped working a couple of days ago. Also does anyone know if there are any replacement consoles out there and leather shifter covers. Mine are looking a little rough. Thanks!!

your oil sending unit is probably bad. Your tach could just have a loose wire. Did it come with that set up from the factory or did someone add it in? You have an sr5? Make a signatur so we know what you have, engine, tranny, truck? etc.

I had a problem with my oil pressure sensor having a loose connecter on it. It's a can looking thing that screws into the bottom of the engine. I finally just soldered the dang thing on there.

That's definately one gauge you want to work.

Dunno about the tach.
