Help broke down while mudding

Help broke down while mudding

After a day of pulling out fords and Chevys with
Y 1990 4runner I went through one last time and as I was exiting the hole I heard a loud pop and smelled clutch and started smoking I cannot get it in gear an I hear a noise under the drive side cannot get the car into gear without turning it off please help

Maybe you shouldn't have been so cocky and took it a little easier on your runner haha. Chances are you blew out the slave or tore a line off the trans, or just screwed the clutch altogether. That happens when you ride the clutch all day.

Yep, no good deed goes unpunished. X2 on the slave part, sounds like the clutch is not disengaging.

Yeah I put it to the test so it you think it was the slave ? I couldn't get it in gear at all

Have someone press and release the clutch pedal while you crawl underneath and see if the clutch fork actually moves. Then you'll know if it's a problem with the hydraulics or the clutch assembly itself.
