Someone is selling a truck cap off a 2000 tacoma regular 6' bed....and I need to find out if it will fit my 1995 6' bed. Was there much difference in width between the toyota truck the 2000 tacoma? I'm assuming the 6' length is still 6', LOL.

It's a swiss brand topper.

 

I bought a toneau cover from a guy with a tacoma and it fit fine on my truck.

 

Hmmm. I called the Swiss truck cap manufacturer and they said it would not fit and that my truck was too narrow. I wonder if they were just trying to sell me a new cap??

Should work. I just bought a canopy/topper tonight from a 96-97 Tacoma that fits my 94.

 

is your Truck a Tacoma or Pick-up?

Remember, Tacomas started in 1995.5

 

It fit....I went and bought it. The only difference is the cab profile. Not enough of a mismatch to to worry about.

hmm... thought the Tacoma's started in 95 beginning mid-95. And the basic differences were the frame was wider and the body itself was restyled (not withstanding the engine changes requiring the frame modifications).
I could be wrong though.
