Help 86 PU not getting spark...

well my pops 86 pickup with the 22r is not getting spark... we've replaced the distributor, plugs, plug wires, had the starter rebuilt, new ignition box... still not getting spark... were dumbfounded... please help...

im having same prob new coil, igniter, wires, plugs, distr cap,new rotor, new pick up. there is this little black box that goes under the screw that holds the igniter down it has prongs comming from it that go under the screw. it has power at the plug from the harness, power right to the little black box but no power after the the box on the prongs. is this my problem. and wtf it this part no one knows and only way i can get it is with a new igniter from toyota. btw 86 yota pu 2.4 22r please help.

guys i dont want to sound like a dick buttttttt, did you check for power in any of these units before throwing parts at the truck? sounds like a huge spenditure for no spark. first thing i would do is get a voltmeter out and start testing things, like battery, ignition switch and so on and so on. download the manual from here and do it right.
if you need help just ask....
really im not being a dick im tryin ta help you...

ya thats the odd thing i have good battery power to the ignitor. power from the part when the ignitor goes to the coil. the coil checks good. can the ignition switch cause this? and im need to check air gap could that also cause this but i have checked the cable from the coil and it has no spark that why i have thought it was this stange mystery part ill try to get a pic of it after work. and i cant seem to find the ignition relay for the life of me does it even have one?

your on the right track, i would download the manual it tells you how to test every piece and you can norrow it down in an hour or so.

ok i found it out the old igniter was toast wich caused it to die. when i replaced the pick up coil the air gap was out so it fires right up now thnxs for the motivation
