Heater not working help

Heater not working help

So my heater just suddenly stopped working in my 1989 4Runner v6 , can anyone please point me in the right direction on things to check to see what happened , thanks in advance

check fuses and grounds. Apply power and ground directly to the fan motor and see if it is still good.
check the switch and the blower motor resistor.

fan turns on the a/c works perfectly just the heater doesn’t throw out hot air when I move the lever to heat 🤷🏽‍♂️

This is why it is important to ask the right questions.
check that your coolant level is full, move the heater control and look at the hot/cold valve that should be on the firewall near the center and see if it is being moved by the cable when you move the lever.
backflush the heater core
