Heater core change-out on a 91 PU!
Got that itch today to dig into replacing my heater core 
Man I tell ya, them Japanese didn't want these dashes falling apart, lol.
Started at about 1pm, and by about 4:30, I was installing the new core and reassembling
The new core's in, and I've reinstalled the support bar, so tomorrow I just have to put the rest of the dash back in, then go under the hood and hook up the hoses, and I'll have heat again!
So here's the inside of my truck, laying on the garage floor, lmao
...who needs cup holders anyway...

UUHH, I SEE IT!!!
get all that crap outta the way, and you can start to get to it
a little wiggling, and removing a few more screws, and you can wiggle the box that the core is in, and get it to pull out far enough to remove the core
no need to depressurize the AC system!
TADA!!!

What is that a 68 or 9 Nova back in there? I had a 72 in high school. Now I have a Toyota and a 66 Mustang coupe. Yota's and hotrods!

oh yeah... it started leaking on me when I was on my way to work, and you could actually see a mist of antifreeze coming out od the vents... it was actually so bad that breathing it in was making my chest hurt...
And the nova, yes, it's a 69; PO put these stupid Yenko strips on it... it's far from a Yenko
pretty much all stock/restored aside from the crate 350 and a TH350 behind it
but alright, time to eat some luch, and get out there and get it back together

lol, aw comon, put a bowtie block under the hood of that Stang 
nice look'n engine ya got come'n along there, and clean car!
I too once play'd around with a Blue Oval a few years back that was a good car, considering the kinda abuse I put it through, lol
only mine was a punched out, and eventually nitrous fed V6
Well, she's all back together!
In typical heater core replacement fasion, I ended up with ONE EXTRA SCREW... but, no leaks, and the heater will melt your face off now
nice and neat, new hoses!
and yes, my motor is dirty... shame on me... went down a washed out dirt road about a week ago, and ended up hitting about 6" or so of merky water at around 35mph, and it threw it everywhere in the engine bay I just have yet to clean it up
All in all, it really wasn't as bad as I was expecting it to be. As long as you TAKE YOUR TIME, AND KEEP TRACK OF ALL THE SCREWS AND BOLTS, it's pretty straight forward. The hardest thing was getting the steering column bolted back up to the support bar, because of the way you have to lift it, slide it onto a hook-like thing, and then push it up to line up the bolts... that's intersting to do by yourself...
I would say total project time was about 8 hours... and that's with making two trips to the store (needed foam to put around the sides of the heater core the first day, and then today I realized that I didn't have any antifreeze so I had to go and get that)
