Alright cool thanks guys!!!

The first time I did this I had them all together correctly, the 2nd time I had 2 or 3 misplaced and when I was checking them out I found one that was not connected. I had helpers the 2nd time doing the intake...

The little arm in the middle of the Larger ARM of the EGR goes to the Q port on the EGR Modulator(maybe it's O, ....it's faded, ....It's the port on the Modulator that stands alone from the other 2... The one that SHOULD be pointing toward the firewall) . The one on top of the EGR goes to the last port on the Vacuum rail.

Keep in mind, I'm talking about an 87 22re..... I've seen SOME things being different in other years(I think 89).

Did you ever check your block for flatness? warping, pitting and poor cleaning practices( using power tools to remove gaskets will cause dishing) will cause it not to seal. Not that you did it, but others might have. You can buy a machinist straight edge for about $50( dont use a ruler) and check it for flatness with a feeler gauge. After all this though, I would take the head( I know its new, but if its been overheated...) and and have it checked and definitly pull the block and have it resurfaced and then use a toyota gasket.

IIRC, Some of those in the back were slightly confusing as to where they went.
