Harbor Frieight Engine Mount Bolts
Hey I have the HF engine mount and just wondering what size bolts do I need to hook up my 22re motor to the mount. I think the size is 12 metric but cant get the tread right. All the bolts I have tried cant work cause the thread are to big. I just dont want to mess the threads up cause it is a reman block. Any suggestions?

Just stop now and save yourself the heartache. Go to a wrecking yard and get some engine mounts. Don't use Harbor Freight mounts. I have nothing against HF. I get most of my tools there. But motor mounts just scream bad day. And as for the bolt size, I believe there is a list of bolt sizes somewhere around here if you search for it.

I think he is talking about an engine stand not motor mounts. I don't know the bolt size. Don't you have any of the bolts that held the engine to the tranny?

Yes I still have the bolts that match the engine block to the tranny, but I am looking for bolts to put the block up on the engine stand to I can dress the engine before I put it back in. I know the size of the bolts, but I just cant figure out the thread size. All the bolts I can find have the threads too big.

I stock some bolts that will work, several lengths available depending on how thick the engine stand supports, I have them in 60, 80 and 110 mm lengths. I think the 80 is what most folks use, but best to check by measuring the thickness of the stand mounting bracket and the depth of the hole in the block.
