Got rust covers :D

well, my truck had some rust, so i got covers to hide it

anyways onto the pics

here is the awful rust....

hehe had to throw this one in

ok, here's with the covers on

I'm still debeting on installing the front, because i'll loose mud flaps and chrome trim, but i think i might have to live with out em.

Also I plan on cleaning the rust up and spraying some undercoating stuff we have at work, to hold that rust back for a few more years hopefully.

let me know what you guys think....

ALEX

Just put the fronts on. It looks a little off without them. Looks good though!

Yeah I see what you mean. Those 6 piece ones do look nice. And ALOT cheaper than Bushwhacker! Were yours a pretty easy install?

easier then i though, even with all that rust and missing body paneling. pretty much just involves drilling some 1/4" holes.

Yea they are nice and cheaper but too wide for my usage.

you need to get these from http://www.toyotafiberglass.com/sheet_metal.htm

and weld them in and do it right ... in a couple of years the rust will out run the flares , and then the flares will no longer "hide" the rust .

damn i wish i found this earlier! either way, i already mentioned that its a temp fix, and i plan to clean it up anyways, my goals are to have the truck last atleast two years as a DD. Its not my main prority and i wouldn't spend more $$ then i really have to. I might get a newer 4runner then, we'll see.

THanx for the comments guys!
