Got a Recall Notice

Steering Relay Rod Replacement Safety Recall
I'm not the first owner of the vehicle so them finding my address and letting me know is really reassuring of Toyota. While thinking about it I started wondering if anyone on here has actually had the relay rod fail completely. So lets hear it did yours ever fail or did you get it taken care of.

I've ignored 6 notices. My dealer sucks and I don't want to drive to another city.

Thats not the steering rod.

Your either leaking fluid from the steering pump, the llines, or the steering box.

Remember TOyota uses ATF fluid for the power steering, not power steering fluid.

It is a really cool feeling receiving an invoice after repairs have been done to you vehicle that parts cost $00.00 Labor cost $00.00 and so on. An invoice full of Zeros. What a life.
