Good headgasket brand
Tried searching a little on a good brand for head gaskets for my 3.0 and got nothin, I thought about buying some from the dealership but they are $60 each so who makes a good headgasket?

For something as important as a head gasket, do it once, do it right. Any aftermarket head gaskets I've used are visually of a lower quality and have had 2 failed.
if your 3.0 is anything like my 7m, either go with toyota at $60 each or get an hks multilayer steel gasket and have the head and block machined before installing, then use arp studs.

Thanks for replying, I'd love to get the block and heads decked but It's not worth all that since I have a 3.4 for it I just need wiring harness and crossover, do you know where to get head studs, other than some place that charges $300 for a set, I'd love some

Last time I used aftermarket head gaskets they lasted just short of 50K miles before one blew to the point of needing repair. Both sides were leaking upon disassembly even though only one side leaked originally. It's been almost 12K miles with the Toyota gaskets, so still a bit early to tell. Aftermarket gasket will get you by though.

I bought toyota gaskets but then I messed up torquing them down and now just oil leaks, about a quart and half a week, there is no cross contamination tho, anyone ever tried the victor reinz?

I used a felpro on mine. I did some research on this and got so many mixed reviews. Some people love/hate the aftermarket and some will recommend Toyota no matter what. Didnt seem like anyone was unified on any particular brand.
