From: Cincinnati, Ohio - Amelia is the exact place. There is no one else on this site from where I am. Seems like everyone is from Cali or Washington. I guess I need to move.
I think there is a thread on here that shows how to convert the connectors to run an AC Delco alternator. One thing though, it is hard to read your posts with no puncuation.

You can get a 100 amp alt from a 91 MR2 with power steering, you will need to put the pulley from your old alt on the new one, and it should be either a bolt in or very close to it.

The 3VZE and 22RE have different alternators. The MR2 alt only works on the 3VZE. Not sure about the GM.

"GM" alternators aren't built by GM per se, I think they're build by AC Delco. Toyota alternators are built by Denso.

ET3307: What engine do you have? Let us know how it goes.

Saw a posting on the MR2 awhile back seems that it would require as much modifying as a GM to fit. I like 4crawlers set up bet. All other either require cutting the engine block bracket or the Alt housing. With the Adaptor the 4crawler made you wouldn;t need to do either, seems he got the idea from an onboard welder company. Think all the different options require the extending the Adj. bracket. There was a guy on here that was selling a made kit new engine and adj bracket for under $100. Been awhile since I've seen it though, you supply Alt.

Why not just do the 100A rebuild conversion that has been posted in other threads?
