With 36's, you should be running 5.29's, I believe

I got 5:29's and 35's. I like the gearing. just gotta shift sooner than you do with 4:10's to keep the mpg low. I used to have 4:10's it was a big step you will know a difference for sure. And with 36"s should feel pretty good. I'm glad i did'nt get 4:88's or anything

5.29's or 5.71's if you think you will go bigger.

The higher RPMs will actually HELP your gas mileage because you won't have your foot on the floor all the time.

LOL - then why ask for people's advice?

One gear step (4.56 to 4.88 or 4.88 to 5.29) increases the RPM's by about 250 if everything else is the same. To efficiently cruise, you need to be at 3000 RPM.

4.88's, and you'll still will have a hell of a time trying to run in 5th. 5.29's if your gonna stay with the 36's.

Then the 5.29'S are your best bet
