Fuse box help!!
Hey guys Im missing the cover for the fuse box in my car, under my dash on the driver side. I need to know what fuse is for what but dont have a cover with diagram and cant find a diagram anywhere online. If anyone has one or knows what goes where, it would help alot! THANKS!

I Just googled images of this with a plethora of results. But I don't have your year either so you might be looking for something other than the google images.

Go to google and switch the search to images typed in fuse panel under dash for 86 Toyota but the 4 runner might be different. Heck type all kinds of stuff google is evil enough to figure it out, good luck.

I have a 88 and 86 runner. Pretty sure are the same. That was off of my 88 Runner build build. I was checking to see if I had it on my 86 runner build. The 86 runner is at my dads so I cant go verify it but think they are the same.

Hello Mark. I have seen this come up from time to time and I was unable to find a pic in a manual or online. I know what he is going thru.
I need to get a pic of the fuse box uner the hood as my labels are off of all 3 of mine. Could you post a pic on one of my runner builds of that one?

Yeah, but mine is peeling up badly, due to the 'HEAT FROM THAT LAST MOTOR', IF YA KWIMean? lol. DANG KNOB MACHINIST! grrr! hahaha.
I'll take a snap shot of it asap, Terry. I need to find a new one. I wonder if that guy that sells 22RE stickers for the headcover would make em for us? hahaha. One in a 'metallic' sticker would be GREAT! Ya know?

Hmmmm, that's crazy, cuz he probably had a dead C.O.R.... The COR(circuit open relay) up in above the ECU, is supposed to 'click on the fuel pump' as you get the key between STA and actually turning it over. If you don't hear a click in there, it's probably toast and he's bypassed it. KNOB! lol. Your AFMeter also has a lot to do with the completion of the "fuel pump circuit". With the key on, you can open the flap in the AFM manually and hear the fuel pump kick on(when everything is wiring right/working right, anyhow, lol).
I'ma let the Guru's answer this one for sure... I just don't like the idea of an aftermarket fuel pump with wiring to this or that, etc. But hey, it starts, at least right now, right? lol. Open your glove and see if that COR is even there, K?

On the side of the block there's a #.. But you never know, man... Could be an 88 head, 85 Block, 86 Exhaust mani, 87 intake... IF, in fact, it's a pieced together motor, ya know? Kinda hard to tell on that one. BUT, you might find GOOD things done like a dual row timing chain, etc., ya know? (85 and earlier?)

On the aftermarket fuel pump, how hard would it be to take it back to factory. In my 88 runner build,it is listed to where to get a fuel pump for $30 shipped. Parts store are $150 and Toyota are $300.
I have replaced 5 of these pumps on 5 different trucks and never a problem. You wouldnt know it from a parts store or factory pump.
The COR is right behind the passenger speaker.
I am not much help on the engine numbers. Might try running them to Toyota as most are helpful when I talk to them.

My truck is an 86 and the hood markings even say 22 RE but i have an engine with a weber on it! So either they ripped the EFI and slapped a carb on it, or they swappped the whole engine out for a 22R.. I dont know which one, so thats why im tryna figure out.... So I have a BUNCH of random EFI wires and crap laying around in the engine bay and wherever from the previous 22RE engine... Or like I said, they just ripped the EFI and slapped a carb and regular manifold on there.... Truck runs great. but just all this mystery stuff got my brain scrambled hahaha
