Fuel sending unit ?

It depends on what you mean by work!!
It will work to the point that if the sending unit is good the needle will move up and down as to weather the readings will be close to the real level of fuel depends if the tanks are the same.
If the turbo truck has the low gas light you will be going from 2 wires to 3
