fuel return

can anybody tell me where the fuel return line connects in an 86 22re? i figured it was the bigger port and the tail end of the fuel rail, but I can't find anything to confirm it.

Its the one that connects to the fuel pressure regulator via rubber hose, the other end of the regulator is mounted to the fuel rail
