Fuel pump pressure???
Does anyone know if there is a difference between the fuel pressure range between and 87 and 88 4wd, 22re pickup? I have both the 85 and 88 FSM and see there is a difference between them...
My parts truck is an 87 and I pulled the fuel tank because my fuel pump bracket on my 88 is looking sad. However, my 87 looks good so I want to just put the whole tank and pump on the 88... Make sense? Thanks

Your talking about 2 fuel pumps and pressure from the same engine??
Either the 22rec or 3.0 your not talking fuel injection and carb engine??
Between the Carb engine very low pressure and the higher Fuel Injection pressures is where you would have a problem.

I'm talking about 2 trucks that are different years (87 and 88) both with the same engines... 22re.
Do the fuel pumps operate at different a psi? There is a difference between the 85 and 88. I just don't know if the 87 is like the 85 or 88, as far as psi...
