RockAuto has fuel pumps for $29 to $144. Only you know what you mean by "assembly."

The fuel pump assembly comes in all different sizes. 2 and 4 wheel drives are not the same length and even different years. This one is 11 inches and 1/8th inch. It is missing the rubber gasket that goes in between the pump and holder on the bottom. I think it came out of a 92 truck should be the same but not sure. They are a little better price on ebay. Place an ad in the Parts Wanted section and you can find some thru there as well.

I dont see a part number on it, but this is where you really need to do your homework to make sure you get the right one. All of the years look similar, but the thing I see on them is the length from real short to even longer then this one. I compared it to an 87 4x4 pick up and this one is about an inch shorter then the 87.

Some Float Assembly differences. The one on the left is what you will sometimes hear as a 3 wire float. It is for the Low Level Fuel Light which is an option. As far as I know, they are interchangeable, just depends on whether you want the light or not. Flat electrical plug is for 86 and newer and the round electrical plug is for 85 and older if I recall right. I tend to stay in the 84-88 trucks so some of the information may be different for the newer trucks.
