Fuel Pump

Got a 93 pickup that hasn't run for several years. Wasn't getting fuel to the filter so I pulled the bed and got out the fuel pump, first the pump and bracket were covered in nasty rust and the fuel line had to be cut because the old fitting wouldn't come loose. The question is where can I get the bracket and circle cover and what do I need to know about fuel pump brands? Can I get away with the cheap ones or do I need to go oem?
