which cam, there is alot of them available for the 22r/22re, and some for the 3.0. Since your an 88 and did not state, not sure which engine.

In either case more gains would be seen with a change in intake, header and a free-er flowing exhaust.

Welcome to Yotatech

What difference did the cam claim to make?
Depends on the motor too.

higher RPM. (just guessing here but 3000-5000RPM) Probably not the best choice in cams for a daily driver. Especially on a stock 22r/22re without head/exhaust/intake improvements. But that's only IMO.

the 261 or 268 would have been a better choice for a daily driver/trail truck.
