Fuel injector replacement now won't start

hey everyone
i will get right to it. So I replaced my fuel injectors got it all back together and started it and ran great the best it has ever ran. Saw I was leaking some coolant turned it off tighten down a hose clamp. Went to start it again and nothing cranked over tried to fire up and did and just crank over and over. So started thinking it though and pulled a pug and had spark so pull the fuel line off think I had air in it nope just had fuel. So tried to start it again crank over once then just crank over and not running. Put some starting fluid in it and as long as I sprayed starting fluid it would run. So my question is

what the hell is going on I am getting air and spark but why no fuel??? Any new idea would be good.

Thank littleblue

Why would you get fuel? What does the FSM say about when that should happen? (If you replaced the injectors without looking at the manual, stop right there. Your torques (at least) are all wrong. Get the manual, and start over.)

I know that posting from a cell phone is tedious, but not nearly as tedious as trying to read a sentence without any punctuation. "Went to start again and nothing cranked." Is it not cranking? Is it cranking but not firing? Is it firing but not running?

Easiest stuff first: is all the induction plumbing (air filter, VAF, etc) hooked up?

Have you tried forcing the fuel pump to run with key-on by jumpering FP to B+?

you (OP) waited over a year and a half to make your first post after registering, and that was the best you could do? maybe stay silent for a few more years.

I replaced my fuel injectors with upgraded ones with a resistor bypass. It tries to run but just for a second. It's a 1985 pickup 22re. Any suggestions
