Front wiper fluid stopped

Front wiper fluid stopped
My front windshield wiper fluid isn't working on my 1990 4Runner. The pump seems to work since I can still get fluid to the rear window, but press the button for the front wiper fluid and I don't hear a sound, not even the pump whirring.
Looks like I need to pull the column apart and start investigating the wiring under there, but if any of you have any other suggestions before I get into it have at er!
As a sidenote, the factory clock stopped working not long ago. I've check all fuses but can't find any reason for it to have stopped working..with 170k (miles) on the odometer I'm not too surprised things are starting to go...

There are two different pumps. One for the front and another for the rear. You should check to see if you windshield pump is shot. I have replaced mine a few times, they are pretty cheap to buy new. My rear pump actually just started leaking a few days ago, I'm gonna have to replace it again.

I think you have 2 pumps on your rig. I would pull the washer fluid resevoir and manauly test the pump to verify. Grab a test lite and have someone hit the wiper switch while you check to see if you're getting voltage to the pump. Again.. this is all asuming you have 2 pumps. You need to get in there and do some testing.

Ah, good to know..that's probably the culprit then. Next step (after asking you guys for help) was to check the FSM and start digging...looks like I know where to start now!
Also, how cheap is "pretty cheap to buy new", just so I have an idea what to expect. I've already been shocked by the price of Toyota parts a few times after owning Jeeps for years

sorry to kinda reapeat question but ..
would it still b a shot motor if you can hear it run when you push the button?.. mine was working fine..it got low on fluid, after i refilled it wont work.. it barely spits like its trying, but not even a drops worth.. but my rear works too.. also i can see the hose kinda twitch when i push the button.. up near the hood

OP, I suggest you first take the reservoir out and inspect/clean. IF you decide to get a new pump, you'll have to inspect and clean, too, anyway.
