fresh 0 miles rebuilt 22re 5 speed 5.29 37's?

What's every one's option on running 37's on a daily driver 22re complete rebuild
20 over block , header , Engnbldr Master rebuild kit , new crank and every thing internals rebuilt injectors , with a L.C.Engineering Pro Street head and cam should be close to 140-145 hp or so I am told no real proof.

Anyway it's in my 93 4runner with a S.A.S. done sitting on 35's right now but thinking about 37's so if anyone has experience with this kind of set up please speak up.

Is 5th gear still usable? how is it on hill's? how is it as a daily driver? those kinds of things , I have searched and can't really find any thing that really answer's these question's.

If it's 5.29s on a freshly (and properly) rebuilt 22re, I think you'll be perfectly fine. I haven't done it so this is not speaking from experience, but I feel like it'll be close to what it's like pushing 31s with stock 4.10s.

Drove my 85 4Runner like that for months as a dd and it was fine.

5th gear will depend on how well you rebuilt everything.

I run mine on 36's and 5.29's and it almost mocks the stock gearing when it was on 28's. I can't express enough how much better it is like this than it was on 4.10 and 32's.

You'll be fine.
