89' starter contacts

89' starter contacts

My 89' SR5 Pickup will not start, after reading around it sounds like it's the contacts in the starter to me. I would like to change them out but the dealer is trying to charge way too much for just the contacts. Anyone know where I can get contacts at a decent price in the Portland area?

Look up a starter and alternator rebuild shop in your area, there must be at least one around there somewhere. I got all the parts (both contacts and 2 nuts, 2 bolts) at my local rebuilder for under $5.00...

Can always order the 4-contact set and have all 4 types typically used on Toyota/Denso starters.
