A kid that was in a machine shop in Everett WA recently had a Cam go flat as well. I warned him about aftermarket cams, but he still used it. It was a Crower Toyota Cam that he purchased brand new. It went flat in a few hundred miles.

wow I hope i have a stock cam in mine!!!??? appearently it was rebuilt and I belive this because it runs good and it don;t leak anything ! but it ticks like hell and really does not pull much after 4800rpm and is rattling so bad there! after 5000 is pointless not like a 3vz or 4A ge at all ! I have done the clearance but its not better i looked at the cam-rockers they looked good but it could have been easy to miss somthin!! so ya I guess is it normal for these engines to be like that I have been told these are just noisy engines but i don't like it !
