Finding odds and ends...

Where exactly do you find flywheel/pressure plate bolts? Its always those little things

uh...hardware store? Or an autoparts store, just make sure you get the right strength ones.

just go to toyota for them. it is pretty cheap for all of them. That is what i did when i did my 5 speed swap. Things like that, jsut go to the best source to ensure they are perfect.

I "thought" I could use the same bolts from the torque converter, but I am guessing that a NO? If so I will have to go to Toyota.

no you cannot. i cant remember exactly why not right now, but i think it is because they are not long enough because the new flywheel and pressure plate assembly is much thicker than that of the flywheel and torque converter

Oh I see...that makes sense.

Okay, stupid question, but how much does a torque converter weigh? I'm afraid if I get it off and its too heavy I'll smash my hand...or my giblets

it is heavy, but nothing rediculous like a 3rd member. Plus if youre sitting straight up under the truck you should be fine.
