fiberglass tops
Im thinking about getting rid of my old can-back soft top and getting a fiberglass top for my 93 short bed. I’ve searched around, but haven’t been able to come across much info. I found a couple old threads of people wanting to sell, but no pros and cons or opinions out there.
I’m looking for something slightly higher than the cab, because I’d love to be able to fork mount my bikes in the bed without lowering my saddle. I also have a great dane and he’s seriously huge. He needs all the head room he can get…
Does anyone use a fiberglass top? If so what manufacturer? Do you like it? Opinions?
Post pics if you’ve got em.
thanks

I use a brahma top, they dont make them anymore but there are by far the lightest(75lbs) and toughest shells that were ever made in my opinion. The guy who owned the topper before me rolled his truck and the top is still in perfect shape. If you look them up will find crazy stories about them, and yes they are a lil bit raised above the cab which is awesome for the sleeping platform i built.. the only sad thing is, would be that ud have to find one used.
