a few nuts and bolts......

alright so im new here so hello every one!!!! merry christmas to.

ok lets cut the chit chat, for the last while i have been putting in a new engine well off and on, its just a basic 22re from a 1988 1/4 ton pickup into my 1990 4runner i blew a head gasket and killed it, ya i killed a 22re im a monster. anywho after i forced it kinda into place (only breaking 2 tranny brackets.... ya there are only 2 but who cares). it sat nicely kinda but ya skip all the mounting whoha. as the motor sat pretty. i noticed that i had some unconnected tubes and wires and kinda got them in place.... i needed some parts off my old engine but it kinda fell off the back of a truck which in turn destroyed the EGR. I live on PEI so emmisions dont count. and im not planning on going to california so i was wondering if my 4runner would run smoothly with out the EGR assembly or cat or other emmision wise items...... please some one help me out
oh ya and are the 2 tubes going to the back seat for the rear heat or are they important?
ya i might take some pics

Yes the rear tubes run back to a rear heater....and no, technically they are not "important" but you will have to loop them, or you will have a coolant leak.

As for the emissions, your truck will not run correctly without them.
